Chronicle Report: June 2026
We spread our efforts across maps, interactions, and UI this month. Here’s what’s new.
The Galactic Map
One of the most exciting changes to come out of the client rebuild is that the galactic map is now unbounded. There’s no longer a fixed view frame limiting what you can see. Players will be able to pan freely across the entire known galaxy, with stars they’ve visited visible alongside stars that fall within their ships’ sensor range.

Army & Fleet Interactions
We’ve implemented base-level functionality for armies and fleets. Movement, claiming & settling areas, and visibility is all working. It doesn’t look its best yet, but everything is behaving the way it should.
Production UI
This is where players will manage what their citizens are doing across their areas, and it’s up and running.

What’s Next
- Minimap
- Colony rebalancing
- Moving units independently
- Pivoting from shipyard ui to interactions with other game pieces
We’re also approaching internal playtesting for base mechanics, which is a huge milestone for us. We can’t wait!
